***Official*** English Domestic Season 2014

Cracking win today, was worried when Ryder and Napier got going, but delighted that Pete McKay smoked a few at the end. He is a talented gloveman, and still just 19.

Yeah first time I have seen him. Sort of innings we are used to seeing these days but nobody else has looked like playing one today.

Lol northeast. Average knock and then gives it away when all he should be doing is giving the strike to billings.

Could be a good match this - first time I've seen Gloucs on TV this year I think. Fabian Cowdrey could tun out to be the best bowler in the dynasty.

Unfortunately we'll end up losing the Roses matches if they get themselves relegated. Probably end up playing some scrub team from down South twice next season instead of the scrub team next door.

Be a good time to go when we win the league and you get relegated.

As long as we can set your lot more than 80 in the fourth innings Kegga and Parry will take us to safety and the minor county will be down instead

I expect you lot are thrilled that Jade is captaining the Brown Caps against New Zealand A today - and at the sight of the Surrey score. :D The team has a bit of a reserve look to it though - I've never heard of Beaven. I'd have thought that Tom Jewell or Freddie van den Bergh might have got a game today.

Would be great to have the last few rounds of this season on Sky, assume we will get the last game but don't suppose there is any chance we will get Yorks v Notts?

I'm not impressed that Sky ditch Cricket Writers on TV as soon as the football season starts - can they really not spare an hour of a Sunday morning on Sky Sports 2?

Yes it would be good to get a CC game, I seem to remember last year it was a D2 match as the title had already been decided.

It's been a pretty decent day for us I'd reckon over on the other side of the hill. Kind of mixed as to whether I want Notts to win against Durham because on the one hand it keeps it interesting, on the other one I'd rather see the minor county go down rather than Lancs.

Went to OT today. Decent weather, shame about the performance. Prince would have to be gutted with himself, looked very comfortable then got himself out reverse sweeping. Sadly lost wickets too regularly, apart from the early swing (Khawaja got a good ball) it looked a 400+ pitch. Lees and Lyth didn't look in all that much trouble. Strange bowling options by Lancs though, don't bowl by far our best bowler for the season, play two spinners but then bowl a part timer before using the second spinner. I assumed the pitch would be a turner with Parry in the side but I think its really we don't actually have many fit bowlers so hope the reason for not bowling Smith is stupidity rather than any injury.
