Oh ffs Zummerzet:@

Can't see us beating Lanky, mind you if it's rained off (which is probable considering where it's being played), we may win the bowl-off...

Went to watch Yorkshire v Derbyshire, rather dissappointing performance. We bolwed pretty well and got off to a flyer, but the middle order was absolute garbage and I have seen better running on a sunday village green.

Decent win today, probably as far as we will go this year but happy with the performance in the twenty 20 this year, wasn't expecting much. Great to see Crofty get runs

I went to Lord's yesterday for Middx vs Sussex. Pretty moderate fare all round, although my 7-year old enjoyed it. Sussex nearly made a hash of chasing 128 until Chris Silverwood bowled the penultimate over with 24 still needed. 6 balls later Chris Nash had helped himself to another 26 and the game was over. Sort of felt sorry for Silverwood. The days when he was the quickest new kid on the block must seem a very long time ago, and now his game has been reduced to this. Overweight, and overstayed his welcome tbh.

btw Luke Wright batted truly abysmally. Looking out of your depth opening against Middx really isn't good.

Karl Brown is gonna get a game tomorrow, hope he does well, been killing it in the seconds and will be great to have 2 proper openers in what's going to be a really hard game. Cheetham also a chance to make his Championship debut after being named in the 12 man squad. Be happy with a draw from this game but not likely...Notts shold have Sidebottom available.

He looked good in *that* over yesterday, but apart from that I don't know a thing about him.
Very talented and is capable of rapid scoring with a nice simple technique. Has an unfortunate history of throwing away impressive-looking starts. But is making real progress and starting to look like a really good player.

With Murray Goodwin's 65th birthday approaching, we will need players like Nash to take a step up sooner rather than later.

Kabir Ali is not a joke player, he was in extraordinary form last season and has unfortunately been plagued by injuries this year. Moreover, he has exceptional FC statistics.
