He's just a gun. Underrated player, especially as a bowler. 98 and 70* in addition to his two wickets this game.

I remember seeing him bat once and I remember him looking god damn awful, like really really bad. He got 0 of about 20 balls and managed to hit about 3 balls before getting cleaned up by some average bowler. That was the only time I saw him, actually.

Always thought North was OK personally. Nothing Earth-shatteringly brilliant, but a good batsman and someone who'd probably be good value as an all-season overseas player.

Well with the advent of IPL and international cricket growing, and india banning players from playing in england, marcus north and chris rogers are about the best overeas players you are going to get these days.
Sa indictment ona great history.

Sums-up everything that's wrong with the English game that countless utterly rubbish bowlers (and not just the Chris Whelans, Chris Wrights, Mark Turners and Gareth Andrews) get long or long-ish stints in teams.
 . He took 4-1-3-3 today. I told you he was good - but did you listen? Do you ever?

Just kidding, I only really rated him because he's sharpish and reminds me of Ishant Sharma.
