Yeah.. Listening to Surrey v Lancashire. Derbyshire in a bit of trouble the last time I checked the scorecards.

Good start by Newman and Batty (41/0) on what looks a difficult pitch with quite a few balls keeping low already.

Glamorgan opening the bowling with a 16 year old and a 20 year old whilst Simon Jones plays for the seconds...
The 16 and 20 year old ain't done to bad have they...James Harris who's 16 years and 153 days old became the county's youngest bowler to take a championship wicket.

8-3-24-1 is very acceptable figures for one so young.

Haha, WTF? Imagine bowling the 1st over on your county and First-Class debut...

Doesn't seem that long ago Waters was a mere 17-year-old either...

Again debate on metros. Intriguing.

Metro zooms past.

Commentator 1: That must 10 past 12 metro.

Commentator 2: Surely all the metros aren't always on time.

what can you say, the guy's really taken with the metros. Personally I think their pretty expensive and if you try getting them at any remotely busy time, good luck getting on one.

Surrey will need all the runs they can get, their bowling attack even for them is rather light (Benning in for the injured Mahmood) and Saker is about as limited as one can be.

My email has been read in the commentary.. :)

I am listening to the commentary from Calcutta, India. The transmission is clear here. Am loving your descriptions and debates about metros apart from cricket. Newman looking good despite low bounce at times.

Cheers,

Just noticed captain Vaughan is back, tough luck on Craig White, however, who was dropped in favour of Vaughan.

It was reported that Yorkshire due to their excellent start this season were worried if they could fit Vaughan in but his doing alright at the moment, playing rather 'freely' it would seem.

Haha, cannot believe old Chaulky's been dropped for Vaughan.

Must be really strange for Vaughan to play under Gough's captaincy though. Given how often it's happened in reverse.
