Tried this a few times in our club warmup on Sunday and was asked not to as it defeated the purpose of the warmup apparently.

My response to that would have been to go and stand up to the stumps. That and make a series of rude remarks to whichever imbecile hasn't quite figured out the purpose of the crease.

TRJ has to be given a run for the Lions this year. Tall, good action, reasonable pace and keeps taking wickets.

Might start getting a gig in my CWPL side if the seamers do **** all in round two.

He was unbelievably lucky today had 3 close LBW calls before he reached 30 should have been out on the second one of these.

I'm not a 'real keeper' in the sense it isn't something I've always done but I keep getting asked to do it because I'm pretty decent at it.

Anyway, early season wicket in an innings where there were 35+ legside wides, in single figure temperarture, and the guy bowling was pretty ****ing nippy = me not wanting to stand up.
