I think they see Crawley as the successor to Root, which probably makes some sense. Salt and Jacks the best pairing for the style of cricket we want to play IMO

I don't think we've bowled badly tbh. Salt was unreal at hitting length balls. Was quite a spectacle.

I like the side selected, it is what I'd have gone with.
 
Crawley should be there until the end. Oshane with the tight line in his spell so far...lets one stray outside off and Zak's eyes lit up

England's test openers out there now.
Yeah really funny how the test openers are 3 and 4 in the ODIs for England. Wonder if that ever happened before? I suppose we had Sachin and Sourav batting 4 and 5 in tests, but opening in ODIs. But this is the other way, lol.
