KP's an idiot. Everyone knew it was coming, there's no percentage in it.

Sort of agree with Scaly too; wasn't very clever from Pietersen. Yes, he's our best player (to an embarrassing extent just now ), but that shouldn't make him immune from criticism. As the only genuinely world class player we have it's only right he should be judged by a higher base curve. His peers are Ponting and Sachin rather than Bell or Collingwood.

Nah, didn't get on KP in the end, actually fancied him for a big hundred. Interesting actually that KP has 15 tons and 12 50's but of the 12 50's 5 have seen him out in the 90's. Could have had an awesome conversion rate.

All the more impressive when you consider he made three (I think) 50s versus Oz in 2005 before his maiden ton at The Oval.

In theory this is the sort of pitch tailenders should do better than average on, but the reality may be different.

If the proper bats get out then it'll probably bog down somewhat.
