*Official* England in West Indies

And there goes our chance of posting a truly competitive score in the next 14 overs.
Gee it would be nice of they proved me wrong occasionally. Whoever compared our batting to Bang was being massively unfair to the Bangles imo. We really don't have the beginning of a clue.

Why do England always get jumped on so much more quickly than anyone else? They're 2-2 in the series going into the last game, and absolutely dominated with the bat last time out. South Africa are collapsing ridiculously too as we speak and noone's calling them worse than Bangladesh.
England won the 1st game becuase of John Dyson and the 2nd game they won was because of D/L. The two games they lost showed that they dont have anything in their tank to be a good limited over side.

What doubt was that then?
I only saw it 4 times, and he dropped it every time. However it might have looked like a clean catch on the 10th viewing.

I suppose I'm just a bleeding-heart liberal.

Did not see that- if it's as you say, then it's not karma, they're just both filthy cheats.
Yep spot-on.

Were you being sarcastic? Are you really comparing a one off collapse from SA chasing a big total under lights against a quality attack at Newlands to this???

I have a feeling this game will finish like the one in Barbados where gayle went beserk.
It's set up for him in exactly the same way - way under par total, moderate attack and easy wicket, so nothing to lose by playing his shots. It's be nice to see him do it when it matters occasionally.

I have nothing complimentary to say about England's cricket - but they rank far higher in my estimation than Darren Sammy.

Disgraceful.

They were ahead on D/L when Dyson called West Indies in! They were favourites to win the game anyway! Last time out was a completely fair game with the same rules for both sides, and England won it with ease. Didn't they effectively whitewash the worlds number one ODI side a single series ago?

England are AVERAAAAAGE. I don't know why the hell the cricketing world insists on penduluming between drastically overrating them and drastically underrating them.

Well sort of. In the fist game, everyone in the West Indies set-up (not just Johnny Dyson) must be so stupid that they deserved to lose the game, however little England deserved to win.

To say the 2nd game was won "because of D/L" is a bit like saying that the Windies won the Test series "because of the Laws of cricket". Completely meaningless. And if you're saying England didn't deserve to win the 2nd game, you didn't watch it.

Check Gayle's Record.. He has done it more than once when it matters..

Do you think they would have won if they had to chase 240 in 50 overs.. i bet my bottom dollar that they would not have done that. But thats ok.. Lets give that to England...

Ahem! Andrew Flintoff last match, the 'comfort break' tactic, jellybeans, intentionally throwing the ball near the pitch so the keeper runs all over it, need I say bodyline? Face it mate, England are a dirty team.

Yes, this.

England deserved to win both the games they did.

For a change?
Well he's regularly on the pitch batting a lot. When it comes to fielding, his injuries seem to flare up. Very tough luck on the guy. Anyway today he felt like fielding, and didn't bugger off to some awards ceremony leaving his team-mates in the lurch, and his team benefitted from that.
