The persisiting with Powell was because the other pacer options who're available weren't experienced enough or injured. Plus he performs well in the nets. Some good performances by some pacers this season backed up with previous seasons' performances have happened though.
I think with the addition of Bravo, the control that he offers, the third seamer selection could afford to be a bit more of a gamble. An attack consisting of Taylor and Edwards taking the new ball, Bravo offering lengthy consistent accurate spells, with Gayle and Hinds chipping in with a few overs of spin can therefore be complemented by a tall, raw quick bowler filling that spot for the WI. Something different from the bowlers they currently have, but of course these bowlers do not come around too frequently. Naturally an experienced bowler that could fulfill this role would be ideal, but there certainly are not many of that sort in the Caribbean.

299-8 at the 50 thanks mainly to Mascarenhas smashing in the last few overs, he finished 82* or something. Fifties for Bell and Bopara

Badree did well enough to attract the attention of some English league cricket sides....
:)
Missed opportunities for Perkins and Guillen, though.

Any relation to Sammy Guillen, ex- of Windies & New Zealand test teams of yore? Fair odds as it's not too common a surname.
