*Official* England in West Indies 2022

Botham's name today is as commercially valuable as it was in his prime as a player. It's no surprise to see his name on anything, never mind a cricket trophy.

Good intent from England here, yes it’s flat, but Lawrence showed you can use extensive strokeplay in order to score quickly but it still doesn’t look easy to time the ball when you’re trying to push the rate along. England looking to force the win here although 10 wickets in two sessions should be nigh on impossible in this deck.

Not sure there's a victory for England here barring a crazy implosion, so this approach of rushing to declare is weird. Windies might fancy a 3.5rpo chase if England just fold in the next few overs.

If West Indies chase 280 in two sessions on a fifth day pitch, albeit still very flat, they deserve the win. I like England’s intent here to force a win or at least to get themselves into a position to try and take 10 wickets.

Wood definitely won't bowl. Harrison suggested he was out for the series, so that's a huge problem if so. Leach to bowl uninterrupted for the rest of the day, I reckon.

Still a chance for an exciting finish with 2 sessions to go. Hopefully it is. Well done England for positive (and good) cricket.
