And the ball has actually moved considerably all day tbf. Definitely a very hard day to bat.
Nasser was bang on, on comms. Windies have done well most of day then gifted wickets away. Not been blown away but are 130-5. Disappointing given a bit more concentration and Bravo for e.g should be building a big score.

Semi-wish that opposition batters would take Broad around the park so someone else would get a chance. Just not the same bowler at 79mph.

Pretty specific with the 79 there  Yeah, but Jordan has been quite a bit better than him. At last his pace looks threatening.

Definitely, it could have been much better. I like the approach though, all the batters have tried to do the right thing so far and it's not often we could say that about a WIndies side in recent years. I can't complain too much if they get dismissed by good bowling on this pitch. Just keep battling, get to 250ish if they can and keep us in the game.

That's how these pitches generally work - mind you it still hasn't been brilliant

Ramdin needs to get stuck in here. Samuels is going to Samuels at some point, one feels.

Edit: A very nice innings till now, though. A fifty he would do well to emulate again.

Double Edit: Ha ha ha ha!

I've noted that that is the slowest he is clocking, which is just too slow for an international quick. He doesn't have enough else in the locker to warrant bowling that slow.

Bravo's was a nothing dismissal though. Shiv's is the product of this kind of pitch I agree.
yeah i know but nonetheless that happens, mostly because it's so hard to get shots away (so batsmen get frustrated) and the lack of pace makes it tough for bowlers to force batsmen out - though the swing certainly helps

Nah Marlon's done pretty well here, he has the ability to play these kind of innings. He's hung around and now he can cash in on some pretty ordinary bowling from Broad.

Broad is a worry, sometimes these performances just seem to happen out of nowhere, he looks slow and ordinary, not a tenth of the bowler he can be on occasion.

Edit: Okay so give him another over...

Has Bishoo improved with the bat at all? I remember him been LOL bad before, would be concerned if he was at the same level as Gabriel will always be muck I think.
