Don't blame him with the pitch tbh, awfully slow for first day no chance of timing stuff. It's quite sad how Samuels looks like he is being made to do something unpleasant and burdensome.

And the ball has actually moved considerably all day tbf. Definitely a very hard day to bat.Don't blame him with the pitch tbh, awfully slow for first day no chance of timing stuff.
Nasser was bang on, on comms. Windies have done well most of day then gifted wickets away. Not been blown away but are 130-5. Disappointing given a bit more concentration and Bravo for e.g should be building a big score. And the ball has actually moved considerably all day tbf. Definitely a very hard day to bat.
Definitely, it could have been much better. I like the approach though, all the batters have tried to do the right thing so far and it's not often we could say that about a WIndies side in recent years. I can't complain too much if they get dismissed by good bowling on this pitch. Just keep battling, get to 250ish if they can and keep us in the game.Nasser was bang on, on comms. That's how these pitches generally work - mind you it still hasn't been brilliantNasser was bang on, on comms. Windies have done well most of day then gifted wickets away. i.e. very next ballRamdin needs to get stuck in here. Samuels is going to Samuels at some point, one feels.
Bravo's was a nothing dismissal though. Shiv's is the product of this kind of pitch I agree. That's how these pitches generally work - mind you it still hasn't been brilliant
I've noted that that is the slowest he is clocking, which is just too slow for an international quick. He doesn't have enough else in the locker to warrant bowling that slow.Pretty specific with the 79 there Yeah, but Jordan has been quite a bit better than him. At last his pace looks threatening.
yeah i know but nonetheless that happens, mostly because it's so hard to get shots away (so batsmen get frustrated) and the lack of pace makes it tough for bowlers to force batsmen out - though the swing certainly helpsBravo's was a nothing dismissal though. Well, at least he is dispatching the short, wide balls now. Just needs to keep his head on. Trying to score too many too quickly all of a sudden.i.e. very next ball
