Why are they bowling samuels before their specialist spinner though?

Not even MS Dhoni would do that.
i remember Dhoni did it a lot with Raina and Mishra v England in 2011, probably for the same reasons.
Lord's 2011. Ishant bowled a freak spell to reduce England to 60 odd for 5 at lunch and brought India back into the match. MS comes out after lunch and at this crucial juncture, tosses the ball to his premier strike bowler: Suresh Raina

This just illustrates how much they will be rigging the pitches this summer for the Aussies. They'll be slooooooowwwwwwww.

yeah maybe, but i thought i saw it bounce pretty clearly off his fingers. idk
Like I said though, they could have skipped the frames where it shows the ball touching the ground.

I wonder what cameras they use for that. Do they just use the regular TV cameras which probably can't do ultra slo-mo? Could probably invest in some really fast cameras that can shoot up to 10,000 fps for those decisions.

They use the regular cameras. Would be an expensive job to do the hi frame rate cameras as with the speed the nicks go you'd need them trained on the fielders at all times.

Yeah, thinking about it now the logistics for it would be a nightmare. Though getting ultra slow-mo cricket moments would be pretty badass.

True. It's weird because it's not like he'd never played short fast bowling in his life before that tour. Reckon this weakness of his has a lot to do with his head.
He was pretty piss in South Africa in 2009. His success in Australia in 2010 was based largely on how Australia bowled at him - I assume prior to the series the Australian plan was to test him out against leg stump half volleys.
