I am glad Smith was not given out but honestly they should not go for review system if snicko and hot sport are not going to be implemented!

Intially both Harmison & Flintoff where handled very well by Hayden & Langer. Harmo's spell to Langer in a way started AUS collapse before Flintoff IIRC.

Wtf, might as well give me credit for Australia's collapse if you're going to give Harmison credit.

Nothing wrong with the actual LBW part of it, that part was plumb, there was a question about a no-ball and having seen replays I would just give Morkel the benefit of the doubt on that one.

Colly's on, so I take it we're well and truly stuffed. Didn't want to win the series anyway. Shame - I could have coped with losing if we'd bothered to show up for the game, but this has been horribly insipid from ball 1. The likely innings defeat isn't the best way to end a tour, but perhaps some reality isn't a bad thing.

Yeah, it's very inconsistent the way the umpires are using the technology. We have three cases taht are very similar.

1) Smith in Joburg

2) Clarke in Hobart

3) Roach in Perth

All three were very similar instances. And yet, Roach in given out, and Smith and Clarke are not out. It's mind-boggling!

Are you saying that the 3rd umpires don't have a sound feed, or that they shouldn't?

I haven't seen or heard this latest one myself, but we had a similar incident in the last match where there was a clear nick (audible but no visible deflection) which the 3rd umpire missed.

They need to sort this out pronto, but I'm sure they will.
