WOW - thats a great start!

What a brilliant start to the Test for England. First off we drop one of our best performing bowlers for someone who's done nothing in International cricket for going on 18 months, even when he's been fit (Aus ODi series), then the skipper goes first ball and now Trott's gone plumb lbw. Guess we don't want to win this series after all. Now's the time for KP to shine!

Nup, dropped. Apparently because Strauss thinks it'll swing today.. but then he batted today anyway which makes it a little pointless really.

That is ridiculous. Was a no ball imo, was nothing behind the line, and the dressing room are rightly annoyed. 39/4, what a disaster. Bell under pressure again, how's he going to cope this time?

Can't do much worse than what's gone before, can he? Nice to see Trott and KP absolutely throwing their wickets away, although on the plus side it spares us any more whining about he best saffers playing for England.
Nice guests England - when in doubt default to crap-as-they-come mode.
