Well i was just reading in cricinfo about England underestimating Pakistan before the start of the tour, do u think that has anything to do with where england stand currently???

England really worry me.

Seemingly imperious at home... but their away form is woeful to say the least.

Going to have problems in Australia I fear.
lets not over react here...it was only last winter when England outplayed SA in SA, and the previous tour away for England in WI(one which a lot of people thought WI had a chance in by the way) was pretty good for England (3-0).

England havent played particularly well, and maybe its understandable after the Ashes. Maybe the motivation just wasnt there..Pakistan also played brilliantly.

I think its a bit early to be saying Englands away form is woeful...but yeah England are going to have problems in Australia, who doesnt???.

I just read that Harmison may well miss the 4th ODI against Pakistan because of flu.......i dont think it will make much difference in the England side because he has not bowled well anyway and he has only take 2 wickets i think in the three ODI's so far.

It will make a huge difference, because whilst Harmy has done basically crap all, he's still better than Kabir Ali.

Oh my God, if Kabir Ali plays, my dream may come true.

Kabir Ali bowling to Shahid Afridi. Neal was talking about Afridi likely to take Hoggard apart, but I can only imagne what will happen to Kabir.

Don't you think a new bowler(Kabir Ali) may add something new to the england team which the Pakistanis havent seen and may do good?

No i dont think so either!

Well if the selectors don't want to pick Kabir there's always Shaun Udal...

Get well soon Harmy, Tremlett, Simon Jones and anyone else I haven't mentioned.

Kabir Ali or Shaun Udal, why don't we just fly home now?

I'd rather Tresco and Bell bowled 10-a-piece 8-)

Alternatively, they could try actually bowling their most economical bowler in the series so far for more than 5 overs. Blackwell was under-used last game - the England setup's continued obsession with Collingwood's bowling is beginning to hurt the team. Why did he bowl 8 (?) overs last game if he was going at 7s? Blackwell went at 5s, less than everyone bar Fred, and they ignored him past the 30-over mark. Bizarre.

If Ali or Udal plays next game, we're in serious trouble. If I was us, I'd just play Ali as the SuperSub and not use him.

Bell

Well I fear the English hierachy still don't rate Blackwell, and would be embarassed with his good performances, with the ball. Hes only playing until Gilo gets fit, we all know that. The odd thing is hes probably got mure turn then any England spinner on this tour, mind you thats not saying much.

Why don't Trescothick bowl a few of hes medium pacers......i saw some footage of him bowling when England toured Pakistan last and they were decent.....well better than Collingwood anyway.

What a crock of .... Tresco's bowling is awful.

As for the other nonsense being posted, Collingwood has been more economical than all the other seam bowlers so far this series and his economy rate for this year is very good. Blackwell should indeed have bowled more, but the figures in the last game are somewhat skewed by what stage of the game they were bowling at.

All the English asleep? :p

Great play by England so far, amazing slower ball by Anderson. That was so good. They're well on top.
