***Official*** England in Pakistan

Without Pietersen, England don't stand a chance to chase this. They need a run a ball, no way Collingwood, Bell et al. are going to do that.

Unless of course Freddie gets a 50-ball ton :p

The record for the fastest fifty is 18 balls by Jaysuriya so Razzaq is off by a few. Still an amazing innings.

The first 10-15 overs of the England innings should be great fun but I think Shoaib will take 2-3 wickets and finish the game off in the first hour. Still who knows? England might just pull off a New Zealand and make a match out of it.

I was going to say, NZ's record might not even last a week if England make a decent crack of this total.

If they score 350, then they'll definately deserve to hold the record.

ah well, england better start planning on how to bowl to afridi and razzaq for the next game. Mohammed Yousuf isn't going to help them all the time

Brilliant bowling by Flintoff at the death. Reminded me of Wasim Akram. Been a long while since I saw yorkers finding the target so consistently.

Razzaq scored 44 from his first 14 balls and 7 from the 8.

Without a cameo from Christ himself England don't stand a chance. England should consider themselves fortunate to be chasing this total, for if Afridi hadn't been involved in that terrible runout, somewhere between 380 and 400 was getable. What a brilliant display of batting. It sure is great to see England annihilated like this.

You really seem to hate England with a passion aye clown. I'm not a big fan myself, but aren't you taking it a little too far. I can only assume you are still bitter about the Ashes.

I know you are a fan of Pakistan, but you seem to talk England down more than taking Pakistan up in this series.

I know Eng are in an impossible position but Geraint Jones almost sunk to new lows in that knock.

Looked like he was playing for a draw before totally embarrassing himself.

Holy crap! I just came home from a family dinner around half an hour ago and when I left, Pakistan were 1-80 odd. I come home to see them hit 350+ runs. This England tour of Pakistan has been a revelation for Akmal who has been absolutely superb with the bat, and its good to see Razzaq smashing a 21 ball 50.

England pretty much dead now with 7 down and super-sub Ian Bell out there.

A poor batting display by the english team. They seemed to have lost all their heart after conceeding that mammoth of a total.

36 Balls faced - 6 overs for 82 runs (a bit under 14 an over). 8 fours, 5 sixes. Not too bad at all.
Absolutely brutal! Both are handy bowlers as well, talk about assets to the team.

I think they're in apathetic mode generally, similar to their 'efforts' at the end of the SA tour.

Some real stupidity there, as well as pathetic play.

Faced with such a mammoth total, England were obviously going to need to use the super-sub instead of a bowler, so why bring Bell-ow in at number nine, which is obviously not his best function, rather than higher up the order which suits him and the team better.

Daft.

Mind, he still top scored...

A quite brilliant performance today, batting was awesome...bowling was tight. Pakistan are definitley becomming a force to be reckoned with - In ODI cricket at least.
