Ohhhhhh I thought this was the fourth day for some reason

Then yeah, what you said.
You wouldn't mind jinxing one of these two batsmen for us before the day ends, would you, Andy? There's a good boy, it worked earlier. :D

hehe no, I wasnt really talking about the cricket. Just a nice, well-behaved crowd.. good to see people coming to watch test cricket.

Did Akmal make a century? He was doing alright last time i found a score.

EDIT: Yep

Has there been any news on Inzamam Ul-Haq?

I am torn between feeling happy that the Poms are losing something finally.....and sadness because the Aussies couldn't do it....

Whatever the result, Pakistan have proven that they can match whatever the best throw at them...at home, anyways.

Inzamam is a class act. I don't think he has gotten out below 50 yet this series....

Akmal's century has been wonderful. He's been beaten a few times, mainly by Plunkett, but hasn't offered any chances (as far as I know).

EDIT: So what if he was dropped on 95. He was practically to 100 by then.

Just short of the 200 stand now, already Pakistan's highest total v England at Lahore. Offered the light and chose to stay on, looks like both batsmen could get their HS today, Akmal's already got his.

Dropped on 95 wasn't he?

A fun day. IMO, Pakistan completely out-played England today. There was one chance (a difficult one at that) and almost no LBW appeals; most of the time the bowlers just looked completely helpless.

Also, they overdid the short stuff. Very few of the bouncers really forced the batsmen to play and yorkers seemed strangely absent as well. (I counted three?)
