I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

I came across a fallen tree
I felt the branches of it looking at me
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on
So tell me when you're gonna let me in
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

And if you have a minute why don't we go
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything
So why don't we go
Somewhere only we know?
umm whats this suppose to mean?

I'm sure u can do without posting such crap.

He did look in a bit of a trouble against short pitched stuff but did well in the end. Played with great composure, after being dropped @ 16. But u certainly cant say he dint deserve it. Surely not a terrible century, atleast not as terrible as Collingwood's 96 or Pieterson's 100 in the last game.
What are you whining about? There was nothing derogatory or otherwise in that.

You're right in that it wasn't as terrible as Collingwood or Pietersen's innings, but it was still pretty bad. He looked very iffy at many times, should've been out for 16, and was probably actually out caught behind like Collingwood.

Is Sheikh a religious term? I always thought it was just a title of authority.
Honestly I'm not sure...I'm sure it has some religious significance though, considering Islamic clerics generally go by the title of Sheikh.

Religion can be a sensitive topic for some.
Aren't you being a tad over-sensitive yourself? TBH If you hadn't have brought it up i'm sure no-one would have noticed. The way i read it ....clown was just giving Yousuf a compliment

Predictions on the pakistan lead fellas .....I say 130
Plus some...

We're just being outclassed now. Tough on the bowlers, especially Harmi, but our batting has been completely shown up by the Pakistanis' efforts. Too many big names doing very little, and we're paying the price. You'd have to fancy them being the 1st english siade to lose 2 tests in pak now, and they'll deserve it.

What a turn around. Especially considering the fact that this Pakistan side is missing Afridi, Razzaq, Shabbir, and Younis.

Yousuf ducks a bouncer from Plunkett (who has been much more consistent this morning), but leaves his bat poking up a foot above his head.

Ball hits bat, and loops up into convenient gap. Again.

Two words sum up the difference: Batting Discipline.

I'm sure I'll think the same when I'm feeling rational, but right now it's 6.07am, I've been up for an hour and my morning has consisted of a) taking bins out, b) getting heavily rained on whilst taking bins out and c) watching Shoaib Akhtar club England around Lahore.

Now there's a d). Yousuf bringing up his hundred with a straight six off Udal. e). Fifty partnership.
Don't worry Neil....I'm sure i felt worse when NZ went to England in 2004....I took annual leave for all the tests to stay up allnight. NZ were in a good position halfway through every test (if not on top) only to completely throw it away in their 2nd innings and to lose 3-0... So I can relate.

Similarly....This recent blackcaps odi series against S.A....we should have won both the first 2 games for all money ...until the last 10 overs. Long story short i was a 4-0 whtewash to the africans. Every ounce of luck went Africas way.

I can relate dude....particurlarly when your team throws it away themselves and all the luck goes for the others team. It happens to all of us....but its the true fans that hurt the most

Speed gun's working now. Averaging 84-85, but hitting 87-88 in his current spell (140+) - hurrying Yousuf with a few short ones, miscued hook... falls in the gap.
