You have to wonder how long the England selectors are going to go on picking him if they don't trust him to actually play.
I reckon when he came out he was 4th choice, but Plunkett's shown more in the nets?

Or could it be something to do with Giles being injured and Anderson lengthening the tail?

Nicely poised game at tea. If England can survive losing only one more wicket in the last session assuming they add 90-100 runs...they will be marginally on top. If they lose 2 wickets ....even stevens. But if they lose 3 or more you'd have to think Pakistan would be delighted having lost the toss.

All sessions are vital ....but this last one tonight could be a telling factor in the series

They won't score 90-100 runs, the session will only be 18-20 overs 'cause of bad light.

Okay. Its a wonder why they don't start the game 1/2 an hour earlier as this seemed to be the problem in the last 2 tests as well.

If it was pietersen and flintoff at the crease instead of collingwood/flintoff ....they may have scored 90-100 runs :p

But which current player will end up on top?

Below Gilly, I can see Flintoff, possibly Ponting and definitely Sehwag that will overtake him.
Yeah all those 3 should take over Cairns' record. How many more Gilly will hit will be interesting though.

They can't start earlier as there's too much dew on the ground. That's the reason why there's rarely a result in Lahore.
