In Conway’s case it’s a feature not bug, this sort of dismissal is the tradeoff. Disappointing from Latham and Williamson though after all those runs in Pakistan.

Blundell has played the best innings on either side by miles and it looks like it's going to stay that way

Nicholls test average down to 37. Feels like it undersells him but when you think about it he’s been sub-par since 2019 which is pretty much 50% of his test career now (barring that 2020-21 home season when opposition fielders were seemingly determined to keep watching him bat).

That's just for England. Boult did it in the return series last summer.

It tells you how much England usually rely on slip catches for their new ball wickets more than other sides, probably
