Even though Stokes & Root's dismissals looked ugly, credit to England for sticking to their attacking approach. Starting to love this team.

On our bowlers, they did better than I thought even getting 5 wickets to date.

I haven't seen all of Brook's innings, but the bits I have he's looked awesome although I see TH's comments suggested their could be some ugliness in between. Everything I've seen of the guy at international level has impressed me.

Can see a >150 run winning margin for England even this early on.

Can't wait for the Ashes later this year!

Just a small point on the Kuggs selection & paying close attention to his teammates celebrations at his first wicket, clearly his teammates don't seem to feel the same way posters here do as they seemed genuinely smitten with him, otherwise the players (especially those senior) would have been made it crystal clear to the coach & the selectors that there would be a revolt from the others to boycott playing if he was selected, and he wouldn't have been chosen.
