***Official*** England in New Zealand series 2013

Yeah, and if England was 250/0 they'd be saying the declaration was too generous.
Yeah that's right, although to be fair as they are saying the world record is 418.

We just need one more wicket you'd say and the tail will fall apart quickly hopefully.

Just listening on the radio in these last couple of overs, Bell sounds like he's in exquisite touch. Always figured that Bairstow would offer another chance before long, but that drop of Bell could be crucial.

A surprising innings from Bell so far - good fifty.

Still reckon a leg slip to Boult wouldn't be the worst idea. Would put doubt in the batsman's mind when he's trying to play a ball swinging in on leg stump.

He was in pretty good knick before the series started (see warm up game and ODI's) as well. I've been surprised he hasn't made any runs yet.

Ugh, I'm impatient. And still annoyed about catches. Sounds like Southee in particular is bowling well but it just needs to happen.

Southee is such a treat to watch when in good rhythm. In fact, Southee and Bolt to Bell and Prior is great eye candy.
