Why did bumble did Fulton saying his highest score in international cricket before today was 75..which he made in 2006/7 ... And pointing out his age.. Players develop overtime and it does not matter when they perform they should be given credit for it.

Who would have thought that the (first) two centuries by NZ batsmen in this series would be by the openers?

Panesar to Fulton, 1 run, maiden Test hundred for Fulton, he finally gets there with a clip off his toes wide of mid on and takes several seconds to let the moment soak in before taking his helmet off and walking over to hug KW

Well done Two Metre

Williamson's average has crept up to 33. Good to see it heading in the right direction this series.

Fair play Peter Fulton. Took advantage of some early luck & blossomed when the pitch flattened out. Still not convinced he has the technique/game required to consistently prosper against good new-ball bowling. Another middle order player dressed-up as an opener for mine.

New ball around the corner.

That will be the real test of how ruthless Fulton and Williamson can be. I don't care if they don't score another run, get to the end of play only 1 down and England will start getting desperate. That's when we cash in.

I wasn't convinced by the rope-a-dope argument because I didn't think we could possibly draw the first two tests, but gee England will not be happy with a drawn series. That said, their public seem perfectly happy to blame the pitch for how poorly they've bowled so maybe they won't care.

This has been a bloody great day of cricket. Went down to class at the lunch break and certainly didn't expect to return to this!
