This wicket maybe flat but it is not the 'flattest' of flat.
Did you watch yesterday?

It was flatter than it was today. The wicket has hardened up and there's actually a little bit of atmosphere to provide swing.

Yesterday there was no movement and no swing at all.

Think we've bowled quite well here, shows there is a little in the pitch, if you keep your discipline, not as bad a pitch as the last one.

whichever way, it's not that lat compared to many wickets in world cruicket nowadays.

Yeah it was flat but never as flat as Dunedin. New Zealand seamers bowled pretty badly as well.

Definitely a lot more turn in the pitch today, and happily there's some swing around today as well which there wasn't yesterday, but swing has nothing to do with the pitch.

Peter Fulton getting out =/= pitch is good for bowling. There is more pace and bounce compared with Dunedin though (thank Christ).

agreed.

My main point was that I'm pretty unconvinced by both Rutherford and Compton. They've both been the recipients of some helpful circumstances.
