***Official*** England in New Zealand series 2013

Days of Grace

International Captain
Fully expecting to wake up soon.

What a day! Well done, boys. How much of a lead would we be hoping for and what's the forecast for the remainder of the test?

I hope McHesson are keeping an eye on the forecast anyway because if our lead starts getting big, we should aim to get England in there again a.s.a.p. Can't see the pitch breaking up or England batting as poorly again.

If they overtake Englands total tomorrow without loss it will also be inside the top 10 opening partnerships NZ have ever had

Annoyingly, not great. Forecast is for showers tomorrow (though not as heavy as yesterday), and it looks fairly grim on saturday too.

Congrats to the Kiwis for a brilliant day.

As for England, complacency seems to have taken its toll again. They really need to stop reading the press before these series. 12 months ago, apparently it was acceptable because they weren't used to Ajmal & co in those conditions. Not sure what people's excuse will be this time around.

Lets hope the weather holds and they aren't saved by the rain.

On Tuesday I moved to Dunedin. All I brought was my clothes. I had just handed in my thesis and my student loan cut out last week. I had $50 in my pocket.

Today I had a job interview. I was offered the position within 5 mins. It is a very good job.

This morning, England gifted their wickets to Wagner and Martin, neither of whom should be taking 4 wickets against any test team on a pitch like this. Fulton and Rutherford have now scored over 120 runs without loss against a bowling attack containing the best swing bowler in the world.

I now have $30 remaining. I have heard that the black caps are staying at the casino.

Is it fate? I have never gambled in my life. Probably won't start now, and money isn't something that really makes me happy anyway... But wow. What a day.
Well done, and you reached 1,000 posts as well ;)

What a day for the Black Caps, don't think anyone could possibly have seen this happening.

Trying to think of the last time we were doing this well against one of the top teams in a Test and nothing comes to mind!

The job hendrix was offered.was putting sedatives in the English water bottles I believe. Cracking start.to his carer.

I clean forgot about this Test, wish I hadn't remembered having seen the card - clearly a day of highlights avoidance to follow so 'twill be a news blackout in my house
