With every run Blundell is keeping a better player out

Enjoy NZ freaks
I'd never root against an NZ player in a test. But man, watching Blundell hack his way to an ugly 61 after being dropped on 4 is making it really difficult.

International Coach
Woakes remaining threatening at 128kph compared to southee really highlights the difference in how the two have adapted to the new kookaburras. Woakes doesn't even try to bowl outies anymore, it's 100% wobble seam.

Jeez you'd have to hope that this is a reinvigoration for Blundell, as this is an otherwise useless knock that will otherwise extend his career for another year.

International Regular
At least Phillips didn't run out of partners this time, it might be Blundell's turn but hopefully he can get a ton before that happens.
