I'm massively impressed by o rourke's abilities. He's gotten quicker as he bowls more spells and is now holding the 90mph mark at a challenging line and length. His bounce does not die...what a profile of player he is for us. The rest of our boys start off at top pace all fresh but drop off frighteningly after a few overs.

And brook is dropped off his bowling YET AGAIN. Nathan smith and will o'rourke please demand triple your match fee for this game.

I did think Southee's new ball spell yesterday was good - he was bowling low 130s though, whereas this spell he's struggling to crack 125 so far . Makes the shape he's getting almost irrelevant.

Southee rocketing them down at 121.5ks. he bowled a good first spell yesterday but that's just woeful, even though it's swinging they've got so much time to play it
