*Official* England in New Zealand 2019

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
This Curran bloke might do alright for the Poms down the road. Needs good coaching and support and to nail down what he wants to do and stick to it.

Sam Curran: genuine all-rounder at no. 9.
Of course in this case it's because of Leach as the nightwatchman. Still a sign of very strong batting depth though, which given that their actual batting lineup is fairly ordinary, they need.

Didn't England win every toss during that Sri Lanka tour?
Indeed they did. They probably win the first Test anyway but I think it played a significant factor in winning the other two.

Yeah England's line up is weird. Due to nearly every bowler they play these days being decent with the bat (these blokes plus Woakes on the bench) but so many of their specialist bats being far below par for the position they bat at it results in some weird match situations

Yeah he is a Jadeja of sorts but really there is no such thing as a genuine all-rounder. Miller, Rhodes, and CDG can only really excel in one discipline at a time and the rest obviously lean one way. Shakib is a slightly batting all-rounder; Botham leans the other way. Only one who could be equi-dominant is Aubrey Faulkner.

Jesus Christ that's bad from a spinner. Probably lost his run up due to fatigue, mind you.

Does NZ lose that review because it was a noey? They shouldn't imho.

You see from time to time ball tracker being used on the wrong ball - i assume the same could happen, intentionally or not, when reviewing the front foot no ball.

What about chris cairns? Equally good with bat or ball. He probably would have been more of a bowling allrounder if he was more injury-free but as it worked out his bating and bowling felt about even matched

Eh he does bat at 4 after all.
Well he has definitely at times been arguably Bangladesh's best bowler and best batsman which is pretty unique tbh

In general though I'd say for most of his career he was a middle-order batsman (with a few other guys at a similar level to him) and their #1 bowler, which makes him a bit more of a bowling all-rounder
