Pujara should've been in the squad from day 1. Foolish selectors though they have young team ready. They don't believe in transition.
Pujara has been **** for ages Tbf. Fine to try other guys out. But if they've failed, may as well go crawling back to him.

You can't keep exposing newbies to this. Hopefully these two put together a hundred runs before Sarfaraz has to come in.
Most experienced batsman India have at the moment are at the crease.
They need to play out atleast this session and next to put India on track.

Pujara and Rahane already got more chances
Rahane was the only batsman that looked comfortable in WTC final but was dropped right after.
Plus even if they got lots of chances they shouldn't be dropped unless you have replacements ready. In this case the replacement looks worse, if anything atleast they are experienced so are more likely to succeed.

Wood doesn't fall over as often in his follow-through. Wonder if he's changed something. Used to go over like clockwork a few yrs ago.

Hmmm. If Kohli can't play maybe they can get Sachin or Dravid to come back from retirement. Looks like this lot are hopeless and need them more than ever.
