*Official* England in CWLand Tour Thread

The accurate one, as far as I know, is the one found in the commentary when one finishes his overs. However, my OD stats juse use the scorecard as I don't have the time to go through the 100 overs of commentary for every match looking for the time where a bowler last bowled. If anyone sees anything wrong in the OD stats though, they're welcome to tell me and I will adjust it.

Ja, it's been seen several times in the Dev League, but we'll have to live with it until Neil's new sim comes along, as HODI is best other option for the moment.
At present, the Sim is capable of simming a match. Whether you want to do some close season testing or not is up to you.

Webheads Look To Wrap Up Series
Brendon Goff will lead an unchanged team for the third consecutive game in this series, as the CW XI looks to wrap up the series against England in the 5th ODI. With 3 more games to play, just 1 victory is needed to secure a series win.

England Follows CW Route
Two changes have been made to the England side for the crucial 5th ODI. Chris Tremlett comes into the side for Simon Jones, and Liam Plunkett will take up SuperSub duties, as England looks to mirror the tactics of the CW XI.

Vikram Solanki takes his place in the starting XI, whilst the ineffective Gough sits out, even in this must-win game.

We all play Dev League lol. Myself (DA Kearsley), Neil, Chris Butler and Chaulk are all from the Blacks. Were as the other guys all play for other dev league teams. Pretty much all of us have been around for a few seasons and are pretty experianced.

Welcome to the PDV Dome sports fans, for the first of this double header between England and the Cricket Web XI. It's a miniseries that England has to win. Down 3-1 in the series, it's do-or-die from here on in for the tourists.

The track we meet today is quick and bouncy, and Brendon Goff has won the toss and decided to take first use of it. The CW XI is unchaned, but England has rethought its strategy and picked Liam Plunkett as the SuperSub for this match.

In a last minute decision, Chris Tremlett has pulled out of the starting XI with severe allergies. He will be replaced by James Anderson, who's sporting a new, sleek aerodynamic look.

Additional Info.

Michael Vaughan used his first powerplay between the 10th and 16th over. He used his second between the 33rd and 39th over. Brendon Goff used both powerplays at once, between the 10th and 21st over.

Liam Plunkett was substituted into the lineup immediately for Vikram Solanki. Neil Pickup was subbed in for David Kearsley after the 15th over.

Fines:
Nathan Hoy has been fined 75% of his match fee for verbal abuse of Marcus Trescothick.
Neil Pickup has been fined 50% of his match fee for the sendoff of Michael Vaughan.
Ian Markus has been fined 100% of his match fee and will serve a 1-game suspension for his abuse of all English players, and one little boy in the crowd.

What the...? o_o Unusual for some of those lads to be involved in anything like that.

Gutted at the loss. :( Two centuries and 286 runs apparently not good enough - looks like the bowling was costly in the final overs.

I blame Ian Markus' running technique. Two first ball run outs whilst batting with him, then he himself was run out. Coincidence? Kwase Knight thinks otherwise...

Your bad running made Fatty hesitant, and cost him his wicket? :p

hahah thank you very much David. There is nothing wrong with my running technique thank you very much. who says your feet have to be over 1 cm off the ground when u run. it's too high to lift otherwise

WTF lol..wered the fins come from ?? anyway not a shocking losse but one that shouldnt have happened.. loose bowling at the end was a bit exspensive and once again the batters at any lower than 3 had no chance of getting settled and it showed.. and on the run out front im shattered to have been run out first ball.. fair bit of work to be done there.

still one more win and we have the series.. come on boys.

It's funny how you have no trouble running between the wickets at training when we put meat pies down the other end.
