*Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

He looks like someone who raises the bar of his game when he is playing at the highest level, his ODD record too is poor but at the same time his international record is pretty good.
His stats for the last couple of seasons are right up there though, very few are ahead of him. His game as a whole has lifted recently, not just at the highest level.

FC Record 2008/09 - 644 @ 42.93
List A Record 2008/09 - 508 @ 50.8

FC Record 2010/11 - 204 @ 40.8
List A Record 2010/11 - 400 @ 40

social was talking more in regard of his overall career, but for a bloke of his caliber an average of 40 odd is still kind of disappointing.

Jeez, KP just can't hide the fact he thinks he's bigger than the game, can he? Carrying on like that to your fielder when there's always two.

Remember one of our bowlers doing something similar in our game when a bloke was, in the bowler's opinion, too slow retrieving a ball at square leg. The reply was "Well don't ****ing well bowl there!"

Fair enough too.

Yeah, his career figures are pretty average, but over the last couple of years (since ODI selection) he's improved out of sight. And honestly, with the Aussie team at the moment, 40 isn't a bad contribution in the middle order.

And how many reviews do they get in the One Dayers? Looks like England (read: KP) just wasted it...

80 off the last ten should be comfortable.

So need to be 253 at 40 overs.

Under that, England have maybe noses in front, over, Australia in front.

If Clarke can see us through here, then he would earn serious respect from all his critics.

100 off 80 with Clarke in the middle and only Smith to come. Advantage England for sure.

If Clarke does it, I'll be very surprised...

Hitting these pulls reasonably hard is Clarke. Doesn't have to hit a big gap for it to be four.

Tell you what, Finn's been very good today. Got a bit of extra bounce where no one else has.
