Will be interested to see how Clarke does. These are the kinds of matches he can cost us with his slow batting.

Tait eventhough he isn't really back to his best has shown today that he along with Dougeh would be one of our main bowlers down in the sub-continent, because you can pretty much expect same sort ****e bowling from Lee and Johnson during the worldcup.

Was our best bowler by an almost embarrassing margin. And that in itself is also slightly embarrassing.

As I said... would be very surprised if we come anywhere near this total chasing under lights, but as for Clarke I agree that tonight he might have to slide down the order and give the better players more balls to face or otherwise he could bat at #3 and look to play a role similar to Trott.

Would also be interesting to see how Haddin performs while opening the batting after having kept the wickets in such energy sapping conditions.

That Lucas Wright looks a bit of alright. In 20 years he should be walking into the Black Caps.

Edit/ Sorry, just realised that's only for the NZ Sky viewers.

He has bowled 20 overs in international cricket this summer, but still he was better than Lee and Johnson by miles. He attacked the stumps didn't try to do anything fancy every ball and most importantly bowled to his field.

Whenever we have bowled first in flat conditions we have looked poor, and the reason for that is Lee, Hastings, Johnson just don't seem to even have the displince of bowling to a plan.

Morning all. What an innings that was from Trotsky. Still a notble lack of scores from the middle order but England should defend this one.

Ominous-sounding ahead of a World Cup in Asia. Still, it's been much better than England's batting this series.

Lee would be a fair shout for player of the series, Watson aside.

This is the kind of disdain I like to see Anderson treated with.
