Afghanistan smashed it as expected.

Read that Nawroz Mangal has retired to become a selector. Hard to really state what he's done for the team, but the context is that he captained them both when they only played third tier Pakistani domestic teams and when they played in world tournaments.

I'm actually surprised Ireland made the final; I thought a few of the other teams had really caught them in T20 cricket. Predictably smashed in the final though.

In the Zimbabwe A v Afghanistan A it's now 4-0 to the Afghans. Dominant in pretty much every game in a side which a large amount were making their List A debuts against one which has test experience that's quite impressive. Nawaz Khan nearly ready for the main side after taking 10 wickets in his first two games.

While people are worried about South African cricketers flying to England to sign Kolpak deals, ICC should do something about cricketers from associate countries getting lured to play cricket in other countries.

If they regulate it FIFA style then I am all for associate cricketers making a living being pro cricketers in test nations.
