Captain Shem Ngoche rotated the entire XI, for game two today and we were promptly bowled out for 83. Now on to the thrilling decider

Had a look at bits and pieces of that. Couple of good Ugandan bowlers at the start, some not so good bowlers on both teams as well.

Are there any class players in these teams?

Jaskaran Malhotra putting on a masterclass in batting here.

He's 161 off 122 with 14 sixes and 4 fours....and in the final over he's hit 4 sixes in a row.

Make that 5 sixes in 5 balls

I just hope that it gets to be replayed back and into the highlights of Sportscenter....It's a rare feat...and one done by a USA player should be able to have tongues wagging in the mainstream sports talk on both TV and on radio.

Well with 30 million cricket fans in the USA (lol), there's no reason for SportsCenter not to show it!

But we can only hope it doesn't end up having the SportsCenter effect, causing young American cricketers abandoning the fundamentals and trying to do the spectacular all the time.

On the Kenya team I rate Irfan Karim as the most complete batsman on the squad, while Rushab Patel and Gurdeep Singh also have decent batting.

Shem Ngoche and Nehemiah Odhiambo are two of the few surviving holdovers from the last time Kenya made a world cup.Shem has added the ability to consistently smash hundreds against club level bowling to his decent SLA, while Nehemiah is now the defacto leader of the pace attack.

Nelson Mandela Odhiambo and Eugene Ochieng both have shiwn promise as buys and pieces allrounders, and Emmanuel Bundi, has been one of the better pace men at the Nairobi League level.

Having said that there were some key players who skipped the tour altogether, Rakep Patel has 100s against this level opposition, while Collins Obuya is still active. Both declined invitations to the tour because of the short notice they were given

Just saw on Cricinfo that Zimbabwe Women are playing against a country called "Eswatini" and wondered how I'd made it this far in life without ever having heard of it. Realised it's a renamed Swaziland. Phew.

That was jarring.
