Vande Mataram said:What a close match, great bowling from Darren and Andrew...For a sec I thought Pakistan would win this but Australians showing that they can come back no matter the conditions are
That has to be the most blinkered and inaccurate post I've ever seen.Vande Mataram said:They dont deserve any game...if it wasnt for the stupid umpires australia would be at #5 instad of #1 right now

Even if he was, he fails to remember that, despite Pakistan's defeat in the final, they happened to do rather better than India did in the tournament as a whole.Sehwag309 said:Hmm
I thought Vande Mataram was just being sarcastic and was teasing the Pak loss to Australia.
Surely he can't be serious in his reply
They do or did they?..not sure what u meant, but either ways, India didn't play at all (forget abt potentail) and it was only a 1-time-wihtout-sachin-33over-game.luckyeddie said:Even if he was, he fails to remember that, despite Pakistan's defeat in the final, they happened to do rather better than India did in the tournament as a whole.

We are cornered with all kind of cultural knots, that every statment seethes towards a new dimensionluckyeddie said:It was a reply which seethed with contempt because there seemed to be racist undertones to both the original message and the reply.
My interjection was purely intended as 'well, they did better than your lot'.
When someone involved with football questions the decisions of a referee, even mild criticism in the heat of the moment, there follows swift retribution in the form of a hefty slap in the bank balance, commonly known as the charge of 'Bringing the game into disrepute'.RealPk said:I think Pakistan should get the merit of beating India... The Aussies just won because of the old Sheperd.
Its time to go for him..

u can say that coz u dint have ur team playing on the recieving end. has nothing to with cowardness, those were 2 misreble decisions n if an international umpire [suppsoedly 2nd best in the world] cant make those decisions then he shd go. in any case he is past his retirent age, n shd go back home n enjoy is retirement lifeluckyeddie said:When someone involved with football questions the decisions of a referee, even mild criticism in the heat of the moment, there follows swift retribution in the form of a hefty slap in the bank balance, commonly known as the charge of 'Bringing the game into disrepute'.
What Wasim Bari has done with respect to his criticism is far stronger than any criticism of an umpire I've heard since the days of Shakoor Rana - tantamount to calling Shepherd a cheat.
The systematic criticism is just a repeat of what was aimed at Steve Bucknor a few months ago. It's cowardly and frankly more than a little pathetic - now where did I put those sour grapes?
Like you, I can say what the Dickens I want, but in the end I will always accept the decision of the officials.a10khan said:u can say that coz u dint have ur team playing on the recieving end. has nothing to with cowardness, those were 2 misreble decisions n if an international umpire [suppsoedly 2nd best in the world] cant make those decisions then he shd go. in any case he is past his retirent age, n shd go back home n enjoy is retirement life
