Sounds like it...steds said:So Timewell gets away with being inactive for months and months and I don't post on the forums since Saturday and I'm suddenly "unavailable"?
Well, seeing as Dauth missed out for what appears to be non-Cricketing reasons to an extent, maybe the A side don't want someone who'll moan if he doesn't open the batting, bowling and keep?vic_orthdox said:1000 runs and a great season with the gloves not enough for Jasotharan. Looks like he's been filed under the "Dean Jones Category" to me...
Don't be ridiculous. Sean made a comment that he may stop posting on the forums altogether, then didn't post anything for the following days. His initial exclusion from the squad was always going to be temporary if he returned within the period of the tour. If he didn't, all would be fair anyway. It's not as though his spot was given to someone else.marc71178 said:Sounds like it...
By that record, as I was away for 3 days last week, does that mean I've now been deemed inactive?
Actually, no I don't...vic_orthdox said:Also, with regards to Dauth, Blackman was alongside Dauth in needling Weber, yet he gets to go to the Caribbean? Both of them still have "Tarique" posts in their signature still.
You've got to be kidding me Jackvic_orthdox said:Also, with regards to Dauth, Blackman was alongside Dauth in needling Weber, yet he gets to go to the Caribbean? Both of them still have "Tarique" posts in their signature still.
Me either...Robertinho said:Actually, no I don't...
The only thought I had, had since the post, was isn't Pickup the A Team coach?Mr Mxyzptlk said:As vice-captain he's best qualified to effectively stand in for Andre, who is out of the fray for the moment. The Panel will reorganized properly before Season 10.
Quality response IMO.Robertinho said:Dauth not fussed

Rob Dauth has released a statement following the media's interest in his nonselection. "I am not overly fussed, it's an honour to play for the CW 'A' and it's not something given out lightly. Every single person selected is fully deserving and I hold no grudges," he explained. "I was, however, disappointed at the reason given. A simple explanation that I wasn't up to the standard required would've been sufficient - I find it funny that I am singled out for having a 'poor attitude' when I'm not the only individual - or the worst - to be guilty of such. However, that's neither here nor there," he continued, "I'm disappointed not to be included, but I'm sure everyone else not selected is equally disappointed. I fully support the board of selectors and their decisions, and I wish the 'A' squad the best of luck on their tour."
That's also pretty much the sum of that.marc71178 said:Well, seeing as Dauth missed out for what appears to be non-Cricketing reasons to an extent, maybe the A side don't want someone who'll moan if he doesn't open the batting, bowling and keep?
Well if we put a similar policy to that of players deemed inactive, shouldn't Andre be officially dead and buried? Come on - show some backbone.Mr Mxyzptlk said:As vice-captain he's best qualified to effectively stand in for Andre, who is out of the fray for the moment.
