Also i think Tarique should be banned from any contact with the media, his continual swearing isn't a good imagine for CW. Also he isn't setting a good example for new players, especially as the Titans captain in Grade Cricket.

and i think you should not be posting that sort of thing. not really necessary is it?

Red players certainly gettingvery defensive in here.
That's funny, because I would call it supporting their captain.

Anyway.. well.. that's bizarre, you're the type of guy that would call a spade a shovel? Look, I respect that Garvinho.

Nah, this is beautiful. Controversey! Rob vs Tar... Dutch-boy.

Blood on the pitch!

To be fair to Watt, it's not like any of the other CW Red bowlers have made an impact on the OD game. Kennett, Loganathan, Langley and Robbins all had worse averages while Borcich, Cameron, Edmunds and Langley had worse strike rates. As for wickets, he was one of only three CW Red bowlers to reach double digits in season nine. If Watt is failing, so are many others, and I don't think he has any reason to be 'breaking' just yet. When so many bowlers are failing - the best average in the team was that of Markus' 33.86, and second was a fair way further back on Cameron's 38.78 - you can't point the finger at a particular man. I would say that there may be another influence on this matter, although I do not know what it is. But it seems to affect CW Red enough - it would be interesting to see CW Red's bowlers stats for both home and away in Season 9.
I'd say it's none of your business.
...Did I say something wrong?

And guys, seriously, lay off each other. People have been banned for swearing before and I'd hope that carries on. As for Rob's comments, stop being so childish. If you're going to come up with something, at the very least try to make it witty, eh?

I think I`ll take this opportunity to describe my point.

In no way do I mean for these two to fight, that would be plain wrong. What I mean is, I want a battle of the spinners, and we all know how violent that can get.

My sheet is clean suckers!

Why? I didn't think it was that childish, infact I would say his inability to take a joke and his immediate resorting to using swear words was infact more childish.

Anyway Towns, why do you care?

I care because I enjoy CW, and don't like seeing the place being degraded in such ways. :) And I told him not to swear about it, too, in case you completely missed that part. Two wrongs don't make a right, yo. Just spell his name right, it won't kill ya. And Weber, man, he only does it because of the way you react, so do your best to ignore it or something.

The whole thing got tiring very fast. And yes, it is childish. That's why you don't see Brian Lara going around saying "Rickie Panting! AHAHAHAHA RICKIE PANTING! JOCK KALLIS! STEPHEN PHLEGMING! SHAUN ********!"

EDIT: Oh, oops, the Pollock-with-a-B thing got censored.

Oh look Towns, if you're "over" it, then we all better stop right now, because it just isn't on.

 Are you being serious....? Ok, assuming you are..

Look, isn't the whole purpose of this simulation for fun? And so long as it doesn't break the forum rules (with some exceptions), it's fine?

Honestly buddy, it's a bit of banter, and you may have yet to realise this, but it does indeed go on in real life (sledging and the like), much worse than calling someone "Tarique"... I take it you've never seen any quotes from Glenn McGrath? And you say that by my saying Tarique, the forum is being degraded? :D

And do you feel that cricket itself is being degraded by sledging at the international level? Maybe it's all part of the game, Towns. It's the fielding teams attempt at breaking the composure and focus of the batsman, and additionally, gaining a psychological advantage. You're not soft, are you Towns? Nah surely not, a big guy like yourself?

Hell, you should be kissing my feet and shining my shoes damnit, I'm making this place more realistic.

In closing, if it really does upset you that much, then I'll cut down my usage, and try to phase it out.. but no promises ;)
