Why was I given nine overs to Kyle's seven and several other guys who outbowled me only bowling 8s and less?

Very pleased with my first performance in a ODI, to hold down the scoring somewhat in the early overs was a great challenge and one I enjoyed. Hopefully I can develop that extra spark in the next few matches to get a few more breakthroughs.

Why was I only given 3 overs when I had the 2nd best economy rate and i also took a wicket :!( 1/13 off 3

Umm..3rd best economy rate, M.B. (3.00), M.W. (3.86).

ok am i misisng something, has this tour gone of the plot. its 16/3/04 here in sydney and game not run.

i have had a 2 game suspension which has gone for 04/03/2004 which is nearly 2 weeks ago, surely something can be done to get the games more regular

Wohoo a much needed win that takes this 7 match series 1-1 after 2 games..

good batting by the captain and vc leading from the front.. and good job by bowlers to restricting nz to a reachable target..

the games are regular.. you sit a 2 game suspension so hang onto that.. the 2nd game is done so that means your suspension is over..

and no you havent been waiting for 2 weeks cause i think the tests were just finished last week..

just wait mate..everythings going fine..there are meetings.. then teams have to be in etc.. and ive got a pretty hectic life and everything has its place of time in it..

Great effort team, We did a fine job in restricting the Kiwis to a moderate total on a good wicket. Well done to the bowlers, In particular David Jr who's selection proved a good one...

As for the batting, the opening combo still needs work but i think with the return of Bugs, we will be able to establish ourselves a little better, Very happy with both mine and Cloetes form, and some good little contributions from Marc and Lord as well...


Overall a great effort guys, but lest not rest on our lorels, we must push forward, take our game to a new level and really give this series and the WC a shake...

Really wanted to be more of a strike weapon, but really happy I have been able to keep the runs down in the past two games.

Bugs returns and Gibbs sits out as a result. Eyes comes in for PY who has been shocking with the bat of late.

Great bowling by us to restrict them once again on a batting pitch.. and we chased it really well..
