Squads Announced for Game One
Both Bangladesh and Cricket Web have announced their respective squads for the first match of the Tri Nations.
Bangladesh: Nadif Chowdhury (c), Tamim Iqbal, Raqiual Hasan, Shamsur Rahman, Marshall Ayub, Diman Gosh (wk), Suhrawadi Shuvo, Ishraq Sonet, Dolas Mahmud, Rezul Islam, Sirajullah Khadim, Kamrul Islam (12th man TBA)
CricketWeb: Thamba Mamesh (c), Shan Jasotharan, Matt Luff, Matt Pitt, Nick Scott, Stephen Burke (wk), Chris Dwyer, Nick Hancock, Paddy Gundry, Andy Cameron, Kev Goughy, Ryan Dunn (12th man TBA)
There are no major surprises in the Bangladesh with the major talking point surrounding the likely final make up of the starting XI. Will Bangladesh go in with the extra all rounder, or an extra fast bowler?
CricketWeb on the other hand have made some surprise selection with Youth Test heroes Matt Currie, Nitin Dravid and Zac Ritchie all omitted from the starting XI, in preference to some One Specialist. The word around the dressing room also suggest that rookie Blues seamer Ryan Dunn is likely to make his debut, but its yet to be confirmed who out five bowlers that tore South Africa apart during their last One Series will make way for the promising young seamer.
