Stalllions
But depending on what happens with Justin we will drop down to last spot

Seeing as the strike ruling has only just come to the fore, wouldn't it be best started now that all clubs are aware of it? It just seems a little harsh on those clubs who passed up players before hand, when the "strike system" wasn't in place.

Agreed, I can handle maybe getting 1 strike for passing on Jellett but having it retrospectively applied to quite a while ago seems a bit much.
2 strikes for the Swell seems very harsh considering we have not actually passed on a player since the rule has come in.

One question, if you last on the order does that mean you have to take a players as everyone else is out of the round?

Yeah i guess its a bit unfair.. will fix it up to show that..
Yeah unfortunatley thats the way it will work, However the likelyhood of a team being last twice or more in a row is virtually impossible...

Is there a major problem with one team having 12 players and others have 10. We increasing the squad, so i don't think its big issue. I just think its strange that your completely out of the draft until every other team has 11 players. Also a bit unfair on the players if you get assigned to a club where your going to sit on the bench all season, whereas their could have been another club that could have given you decent game time, even though they have one extra player.
I know CW Cricket has nothing to do with CW Football, but they have a similar draft system and you don't have to wait a full turn until you get a pick. You can still pick up players if all the other clubs pass on them, even if you have more players.
