Cup Competition - Quarter Finals

Game 1:
Wellington Phoenix vs TNS
New Zealand take on Wales' finest.

Game 2:
F.K. Bodo Glimt vs Red Star Belgrade
Norwayese face stiff competition against the Serb champions.

Game 3:
Mansfield Town vs Go Ahead Eagles
Noone really gives Mansfield Town much chance against a strong Dutch outfit.

Game 4:
Perth Glory vs LA Galaxy
Perth did well in the last round against Sydney, but LA Galaxy are the tournament favourites.

Yeah we are that bad. Remember our only international game was against the might of American Samoa and we didnt win easily.

Cant expect too much different against pro teams with good international players in them.

If thats the case what the point of playing teams that much better then so early in the piece. Better off having our own sort of with CW town sides (like grade cricket sides). Where the players are just below our standard. Kind of a pointless excerise to get smashed 33 nil. Its not as if your going to improve in real life getting smashed that bad.

Game 1:
Wellington Phoenix vs LA Galaxy
Wellington Phoenix have done well to get this far in their first competitive matches but LA Galaxy are the cup's dominant team.

Game 2:
Go Ahead Eagles vs Red Star Belgrade
Red Star Belgrade should see off the attempts of the plucky Dutch team to reach the final.

LA Galaxy have been the strongest team throughout the competition whilst Red Star have also turned sides over easily. Who would come out on top though?

TBH Red Star Belgrade have played in UEFA Cup and Championship leagues in the past. Yeah they are not as good as their hay day when they had the best Serbian players. But they still get the best Serbian youngsters. A bit a joke they lost to some crappy American side (who will just be a one man show next season anyway) but to lose 10 nil is a joke. Red Star Belgrade wouldn't lose that bad to Man Utd or Barca.
