Was getting a bit interesting that, had a tiny glimmer of hope there with Hogg and Lee still to come. If we go back now though we'll lose; someone's bound to get out after the break, and the revised target's going to be something like 400 off 8 overs.

Edit: No problem with DL, mind you, clearly best method out there
Not even Mahmood would concede 50 an over

Can't remember it ever happening. It could have in '83/84, when the second final was tied (coincidentally or perhaps ominously, I think Channel Nine are showing a replay of that match at this very moment), but the West Indians won the third anyway and took it 2-0.
It happened in England last year with the NatWest Series didn't it? Before the NatWest Challenge? Or the other way around.

Its only bad for Aus if they come back on, it won't help Watson or whoever you want to see prove their worth, and it'll make a win almost impossible.

DL wouldn't be such a problem if they were 2 or 3 down. Only themselves to blame.

I am disappointed the game has been disrupted again, it was looking interesting to see how Watson and Hodge would go. Now its lose-lose for Australia - if they come out again it will probably be beyond them to meet the rate required, so they can play for runs for their spot, and lose, or go for it, get out and lose.

At least it's good for the farmers...
To be thruthfull this annoying rain will do **** all for the dams, still some rain is better then none, at least it waters the garden's and if people have rain water tanks.

White covers coming off.

If they can play post midnight in the Aussie open, why not in the cricket when the lights are available. For such games, I don't see why the matches should not be allowed to continue to say 2-3 hours more if rains effect it.

Yeah, and India/Sri Lanka shared a Champions Trophy - probably happened a few more times around the world. But I thought we were talking about the Aussie tri-series (B&H, VB, Commonwealth, etc)

Screws up channel 9. They're showing "Welcome to the Jungle" with The Rock after this!! :)

Except for those who have to work tomorrow.

Yeah, Australia definitely had more chance of winning before that break than after, though it was unlikely to begin with.
