Yeah but you live in an NRL state, and its about time you wake up to this.

The more you bag Victoria yet confess your love for AFL (and the North Melbourne Football Club) the more you look like a dick.

The more you confess your love of the Richmond football club and Victoria yet support India the more you look like a dick.

Sorry, couldn't resist :p I don't know man. I haven't read the blog. Maybe they were just ***** with a chip on their shoulders. We've got a sixth of humanity here. Stands to reason that every sixth idiot on the internets is Indian too, and they'd naturally all gravitate toward the cricket sites in large swarms :p
Good one!

NZ team in actually competing when their players haven't been robbed by stupid tacky franchises shocker.

Would love nothing more than to get these IPL teams somewhere like South Africa without their overseas players. Would be beautiful.
Join the club. Although I'd say the same for a different reason.

IPL teams depend too much on overseas players, even with the best of Indian talent at hand. They'd fight tooth and nail for their overseas imports, and some say it's justified, because they need them more (case in point being Srinath commenting on RCB's wrangle for Cam White), but it just shows that they have done little to nothing to develop local talent. Contrast that with other teams that can still field competitive sides without a single overseas player.

In fact, since the IPL gets some of its players from the CLT20, I'd prefer to have BCCI's State teams in the fray instead.

In other news: Rajat Bhatia > Ravindra Jadeja

Yesterday's game (Aces vs Knights) was good, yet disappointing. It was good to see the Indian performers help KKR win. It was good to see Yusuf chip in with the ball and dent the Aces, following a disappointing show with the bat. It was still disappointing, to see this Indian Premier League team still hinge on international players, notably two who have struggled at T20. And just one NZ, one SL and one WI team compete with two English and a fourth so-called Indian team in the qualifiers.
