Warner seriously got a touch of the Darren Lockyer's to his voice. Not as raspy, but getting there.

Enjoyable match last night. Crowd figures a little down on expectation however it was a great atmosphere at the ground.

The MCG pitch looked fast. All the Stars batsmen with the exception of Hussey and Wright appeared to struggle with the pace of the pitch. Bollinger and Coyte banged the ball in short and were rewarded with awkward batting from the Stars top order. It is no coincidence that Hussey thrived on deliveries pitching on a good length from Abbott and Edwards.

Sydney Thunder was always in control of the run-chase. Dave Warner playing the best domestic Twenty20 innings I have witnessed. Never seen so many shots clear the fence with such distance at the MCG before. From the stands, Shane Warne actually looked to bowl well. The two deliveries that Warner belted him down the ground were well flighted deliveries. Philipson looked clueless against him.

Very disappointed with our two imports with the ball. Luke Wright bowling full-tosses to David Warner when set was an ugly sight. Dernbach is likely to retain his place due to injuries/international commitments to the other bowlers, however I was hardly impressed.

Might head down to Etihad on Thursday for the Renegades game. Can anyone remind me when the last game was played there? 2005?

Was a cracking shot, a better descritpion would have benn an uppercut for 6 off the middle of the bat.
Why don't you give yourself an uppercut while you're at it ****?

Devo Jaxxxon Bird didn't play last night. Chargrilled Cheequee thrown into disarray.

Expecting two cracking games this evening.

I will follow the Renegades game however the Perth v Hobart game should be a good contest. It's a shame we only see Ricky Ponting back in domestic cricket for this format.

Wow just noticed Warner's average will be seriously boosted. Last 3 domestic knocks 135*, 123* and 102*.
I think less of him as a cricketer now he's racking up the not outs...when we look back at his career in 10 years time we'll realise that scoring all these not outs made him look much better than he was.

All he's doing at the moment is playing for his average and not having a go
