This Cook guy should be getting pummelled. Doesn't turn it a millimeter.

edit: Carey should be embarrassed that he faced 5 dot balls from him

3.2 overs left, Jake Lehmann doesn't usually bat this long

also this has been a terrible innings from Short. 8 (14) coming in at ~2/100 with only 3 overs left

short would seriously have been better off knocking one up in the air about two overs ago

I really don't understand the T20 career of Jake Lehmann at all
I don't know if he's ever come in with more than a few overs left. For someone who's been around for more than a few seasons now you'd think he'd want an opportunity up the order.

He did say in the Strikers' first match during one of those sideline talks that he's perfectly happy at six for the team's sake.

I don't know if that's PR gobbilty gook, but it still seems a waste. The guy faced under 100 balls last BBL and only had 1 not out innings. Strike rate around the 120s mark at best. Earliest he came in was the 12th over I think, having just browsed the matches.

Even Jono Dean got a stint at opener/up the order after batting below Lehmann in most of the matches last season.
