Handscombe to score runs here. Makes you remember that even these test flops can tear up the BBL

Shows how bad dean and dunk are lol

That's the funny thing about the Stars. One of the issues with their side is they have too many bowlers that they don't need (why is Boland there?) and they could just pick another batsman.

But then the other big issue is they have a severe lack of competent batsmen! Whoever managed their recruiting has some questions to answer IMO. Imagine if Maxwell or Stoinis (or both!) happened to make the Test team . . .

Well theyl both make the ODI team right? During this bbl season.

Still, Maxwell-Stoinis-Handscombe-Larkin-Maddinson (in any order) will be a handy top 6 when all available

Dunk to complement with a quickfire 9 and we're all good

I forgot about Maddinson, fair enough. They still need to get another batsman or 2. They're wasting a spot having a couple of extra bowlers they don't need. Maxwell's shown how useful a bowler he is, and Stoinis didn't even get a bowl today (I'd bowl him over Boland in T20s). Not to mention Evan Gulbis playing as a batsman.

I almost want to see Maxwell and Stoinis gone with Maddinson still out just to see what they do. Pick 7 specialist bowlers? Some random Grade cricket batsman?

It's interesting that every team has a gaping hole in either their batting or bowling. The hurricanes possibly the most well rounded but that's because Archer is so damn good

Is their a salary cap?

handscomb actually seems to be trying to play off the front foot. this is wild

by which i mean his front foot is actually moving forward (about a foot)

He isn’t facing the lengths that troubles him in tests but Handscomb actually looks decent playing shots instead of trying to dab to third man.

he's a talented cricketer imo. just has got into a complete muddle tinkering with his technique. still think he has a real long-term future around the side.

Poor West probably worked so hard to get back here after Gayle demolished him two years ago lol

Won't get a second over

And I thought McAndrew was bad. West looks like absolute crud. Maybe try bowling a decent line and length to start.
