Get rid of Gulbis, Boland and one of the spinners for 3 decent batsmen and they would have an incredible side, with genuine batting down to 9 or 10 and plenty of bowling options.

wtf I thought Trent Woodhill's absolutely undeniable and self-proclaimed genius meant this couldn't happen.

It's hard to know what to make of Stoinis. Every twelve months or so he is so amazingly better than everyone else on the paddock with both bat and ball that he gets man of the match in a losing cause where he scored over half his team's runs and takes three wickets. Then in between he's not much more than decent.

Perhaps a mental thing? Plays better when he knows he just has to go for it

Geez Stoinis could have mowed that one into the crowd had he stayed still
He was visibly exhausted by the end of the innings. Those first 3 balls of the last over were all perfect hitting length and would have gone into the crowd had he been fresh, but he barely managed to bunt them for 2.

It was a pretty ordinary bowling that last over really, could have easily gone for the 24 runs

It seemed pretty humid last night [has been quite hot here too]. A few bowlers dropping the ball in the run-up and batsmen slipping over.

What a ****ing epic player Stoinis can be (sometimes). I love his lone-hand heroics.

Hurricanes pack full of bowlers as well. Some weird team balances this year.

Meanwhile Renegades bat really ****ing deep.
