English boys acquitting themselves pretty well so far. Watched the first two games, surprised someone signed Woaksey for his white balls skills despite my love for him. He bowled pretty well though, was unlucky not to get a couple more wickets. Nic Maddison reminds me so much of Trescothick.

Just on last nights match, I was quite surprised by Thunder's selections. I don't know the full story on injuries, but Sandri and Dean were pretty surprising selections while Floros, Kurtis Patterson and Daniel Hughes didn't play. Thunder really screwed up after the excellent platform set by Khawaja and Warner. I know its a popular choice to give Maddo the man of the match and it doesn't really matter, but I would have given it to Henriques, who was hit for 16 runs from his first over, bounced back superbly taking 2/8 from his remaining 3 overs. The wickets of Usman and Mussey were crucial and reduced the chase significantly. Finished it off with 28* (18), a higher strike rate than Nic Maddinson.

Well Doran was injured, and until Mendis and Dilshan come here, Doran's their only spinner iirc. (related note: Did anyone sign Krejza?) I guess they could have played Floros over Dean though.
