As an Englishman, I don't always see alot of the domestic Aussie game but what's the deal with Sean Abbott.

Whenever I see him in the BBL he looks really good but he's never had much of a go in Aussie T20 side.

While his stats aren't great for Aus, they certainly aren't terrible, I'm definitely surprised they haven't given him a wee bit more of a play.

I doubt Whiteley has ever bowled in the powerplay before tonight. Barely bowls in English cricket. Glad he's found the right standard to make a success out of his bowling.

He didn't bowl at all in 25 games of t20 and hundred last summer
