one story was that when he signed his latest BBL contract with the heat, he was told he'd been used as an opener, which basically didn't end up happening. given lynn is the captain and linchpin of the batting order (and moves in and out of opening), that's one source of trouble i guess

I've been thinking about this, and it's kinda odd that it's not there already, and there was never a push for it to be. as I recall, T20 started global around the same time as the "powerplay" was introduced into ODI cricket. it could have easily come in

My bad, power surge mate. Watching the Super Smash (no power surge), and the Big Bash (with power surge), I find it really adds a lot to the game.

He really is an enigma. Just watching him interviewed before, it’s like he’s simultaneously a hoary veteran and an impish young(ish)ster. Honestly can’t get a read on him.
